Orangerie
Materials

The Orangerie collection includes pieces of furniture and accessories made in precious natural materials such as rattan, wicker and rawehide.
To guarantee duration and preservation, we recommend use in protected environments such as verandas and porticoes sheltered from direct sunlight and rain.

The collection is perfect for furnishing wellness centres and spas as the natural materials with which it is made are not affected by humidity. The fabrics used to cover the furniture are suitable for outdoor use: Resistance to bad weather and easy to clean.

The marbles offered in the collection show the inherent beauty of a material always in fashion, offered in both its natural version and in a ceramic for excellent resistance. A selection of various types of glass, transparent, smoked or printed complete the available options. For excellent protection and for coverage during winter or periods of non-use, each piece of furniture has a protective cover on request.

Rattan and wicker

Rattan is a precious material produced by nature that comes in the forms of reeds. It is imported from South-east Asia and after careful selection, it is used to make the frames of the furniture. The main characteristics of this material are: elasticity, flexibility and lightness. Rattan canes are bent by heating them over a flame. The wicker is obtained from wire-drawing the internal part of the rattan in different diameters, in both round and flat-oval versions. It is wet and then woven by hand, to create various patterns of weave. Rattan and wicker can be coloured with painting processes.

Rawhide

Rawhide is a highly resistant, precious, natural material made from animal skin (lamb, calf) it is cut into thin strips that are then woven. It is used for ties, lending a decorative value, but also to create wide weaves, as is the case for the Rigel range. It is suited for colouring and the addition of a glue enhances the aesthetics and strength of the piece, protecting it for a long time.

Cushions and fabrics

The cushions on the Orangerie collection furniture have fully removable covers for washing. All the fabrics offered for the furniture are water-resistant, fade-proof, weather-resistant, resistant to chlorine and salt water, stain-proof and mould-proof, to combine resistance and comfort. The seat foam cushions can be covered with a special, patented technical fabric that allows the cushions to breathe, but at the same time makes them waterproof and stops mould from forming.

Marble and ceramic marble

Alongside natural marbles, the collection offers an interesting range of marble-finish ceramics. Bright surfaces, seductive colours and highly-emotional veins transform the ceramic into a real piece of furnishing, with excellent characteristics for use outdoors, such as being damp-resistant, UV ray-proof, liquid proof and resistant to abrasions and stains.

Glass and printed glass

The collection involves the use of tempered glass in both layered and printed versions. This second particular procedure allows any texture to be applied to the glass to reproduce marble, natural stone of any kind that is also weather resistant and have the natural brightness of glass.

Protective covers

Each piece in the collection has a personal protective cover made with a new certified technical material that is both waterproof and breathable.
